Our Story

A tradition you can taste in every bite

For generations, our family has shaped tortillas the way they were meant to be shaped — by hand, with patience, and with real nixtamalized corn. No shortcuts. No preservatives. Just the honest work of turning simple ingredients into something that brings people together.

Today, Tortilleria La Unica continues that tradition right here in Lower Lake. Every tortilla that leaves our kitchen is warm, soft, and made with the same care our grandparents put into theirs. We are proud to serve our community with something real.

Nixtamalized corn, water, and a pinch of lime. Pressed and cooked on the comal until golden — soft, pliable, and full of corn flavor.
